Accommodation choices ~
Our most popular fishing package is our moderately priced floating lodge, located in Port Eliza Inlet. This wilderness setting is picture post-card perfect, nestled between tall mountains in a beautiful inlet only minutes from the fishing grounds.
The Lodge has 14 comfortable rooms available for guests in 3 buildings on the floating site:
The Guesthouse has 8 rooms with 4 adjoining shared bathrooms.
The Main House has 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom.
The Barn Building has 4 guest rooms, each with private bath.
There is a TV available for guest viewing in the Main House. Satellite access to the Internet is available for our guests to send and receive e-mails.
A floating lounging deck and hot tub are just outside the guesthouse and floathouses, inviting you to soothe sore muscles that you may have from fighting all those fish!
The atmosphere is very relaxed. Our goal is to do everything possible to ensure that our guests experience an enjoyable and memorable outdoors adventure
We provide meals each day:
Breakfast:
We serve a continental breakfast consisting of fresh fruit, juices, cereals, muffins, toast and jams.
Lunch:
At breakfast each morning, we put out all the makings for sandwiches. Guests can build the types and quantities of sandwiches they would like for lunch, and select from a variety of cookies, squares and fruit. We don’t want you going hungry! Guests may also return to the lodge after 11.00 am each day for hearty home-made soup.
Dinners:
A substantial buffet style dinner is served each evening, accompanied by house wine.
The dinner menu will be posted at breakfast time each day. If you have special preferences or dietary needs, please notify us at breakfast time so that we can prepare something special to suit your needs.

Chinook Fishing Adventures offers a second location on a floating Lodge in McBride Bay on Nootka Island.
This Lodge boasts deluxe accommodation for a maximum of 24 guests. Each luxurious suite has a gas fireplace and private bathroom. The rooms are very comfortable for 2 guests but can accommodate 3 in each room.
After fishing, you'll return to the lodge where the day’s catch is cleaned and stored, then gather with friends or family on the patio deck or around the fire pit to watch the sun go down, or relax in the hot tube or sauna. The chef has prepared appetizers which are part of the traditional happy hour. For any special dietary needs just let us know the details when booking your trip.
Meals are great!
Wake up to your choice of hot or continental breakfast. Lunches are prepared with your chosen selections and snacks for you to enjoy out on the water between fish.
Dinner is a full buffet every night, (both surf and turf) with complementary wine, beer and soft drinks. A variety of seafood may include oysters, prawns, Dungeness crab, salmon, halibut, snapper, cod and mussels. Feel free to bring other beverages with you.
This location is 45 to 60 minutes to the fishing grounds by boat.
Both of these great locations offer personable and friendly atmosphere. Feel free to to share your experiences with other anglers - in many instances our guests become great friends over the three or four days that they spend with each other.
There are alternatives as well: accommodations for your west coast fishing holiday are very flexible, based on your requirements and budget.
Tahsis (the pick-up location for your fishing holiday) offers motels with rooms for two to three people or condo suites for larger parties. The marina offers a two bedroom suite that sleeps 4 very comfortably. The motel and marina suite do not include meals, but there are a few restaurants to choose from.
We have access to a guesthouse that can accommodate up to eight guests with good home-style meals included.
The Lodge Tahsis Harbour is very nice, right on the water, includes great meals and has very comfortable accommodations.
If you'd like to stay in your R.V, there is an R.V. park right on the waterfront!
All the above locations are accessible by car from Campbell River 3.5 hours away. If you choose to stay in Tahsis be aware that the running time to the fishing grounds is 1 to 1 1/2 hours each way.
If you come with your own boat and want to experience any of our great accommodation packages we can arrange this for you. If you would like a guide on your boat to help you learn your way around the waters and how to fish our area this may be arranged for you.
Both above locations are accessible by car from Campbell River, just 3.5 hours drive away.
